35 years ago a group of Chattanooga citizens decided that people facing the last chapter of their life needed the kind of care that would allow them to stay at home, surrounded by family and friends – a kind of care called hospice.

Since that humble beginning in 1981 from an office at the Hamilton County Health Department, Hospice of Chattanooga began its service as the only hospice in this area. It has always been community owned and managed by a board of directors made up of citizen volunteers committed to being a not-for-profit hospice dedicated to serving all who are in need of hospice care, regardless of their ability to pay.

Here in 2016, we celebrate the 35th birthday of Hospice of Chattanooga, now serving patients in 18 counties in Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia, covering over 6,000 square miles.

We are asking that you support the cause of hospice by celebrating our birthday with a $35 donation, or one dollar for every year of service to this great community – a simple but impactful way to help your neighbors who deserve 5-Star hospice care. It is a simple gift that makes a BIG difference.  We invite you to join in the cause by making your contribution below.
